The City of Singapore.

There, that’s good for a start.

The city which has it all. The place where humans have a universal right to stand up and sing, ‘We Built This City’. Cause they did. They built this city.

That is a spaceship. That, ladies and gentlemen is E.T. And those trees which so enthusiastically played ‘Voulez Vous’ is the place where they had the reception in Crazy, Rich Asians….All on the bay!

Well, the gardens are actually by the bay and the space ship(I said what I said) is bay sand. So the question is….Where’s the bay?

It’s by the garden.

Hehe….

And by garden, I mean an entire biome.

This particular flow reminds me of Alice in Wonderland….more specifically, this one….

This is a devil’s lair. It looks like a pretty garden to sit in and read Jane Austen but actually it ain’ Jane Bennet. It’s got these babies….

Which come with a sign saying, ‘Careful, it could eat you.’

And just like French Fries don’t limit themselves to France, the Venus flytrap doesn’t limit itself to flies….

Now, let’s actually get some evidence of the fact that a bay does actually exist, giving rise to the various bay-related merch….

And we’ve got the Singapore Eye watching over it. Hence the Ferris wheel will be named Baywatch from now and for ever more.

Hehe.

Singapore isn’t just a city, it is a collection of various biomes. We saw the ‘gardens’, then the airport’s an ecosystem of its own….

There’s a fish, look! What did I say about ecosystems?

Alright, that’s enough of geography! Where’s the Merlion?!

It’s under construction. We did get to sit right beside it for the light show on the bay but it was all covered. It’ll emerge next time, new and improved.
