Right. Now that we’re off to an appropriate start, let’s acquaint ourselves to the fact that the decade actually ends in a few hours. Once all of you are done acquainting yourselves to the said fact, take a deep breath and scroll down to my timeline, wherein I will revisit the ten years that have passed us by, focussing mainly on the effect it had on me. Why just me? Because I’m a Queen….And my birthday is in two months and four days. Now, mark your calendars, pay your homage and lets begin.

 

TIMELINE OF THE DECADE(2010-2019)

2010: MY PARENTS COMPLETED 15 YEARS OF MARRIAGE….

FUN FACT: Next year, they will be completing 25 years of the hustle….Jealous much, Brangelina?

This is one of the rare times when we actually had an anniversary party, because after this, I decided to start touring and they ended up reminiscing their special day in Nandurbar….Twice.

P.S. I won’t yell if you think that place is a fragment of my imagination.

2012!!!!: THE YEAR WHERE NOTHING MUCH HAPPENED….EXCEPT APOCALYPSE….

I have literally no pictures to signify this year….

I mean, this was a year where I hit a downside cause in the middle of it, I broke my right wrist which led to nearly four years of a rugged patch in the sporting field. This was my first face-off with a slightly darker patch in life, which had so many episodes of crying and breakdowns and consecutive losses and a lot of loss of friends. It was a bitter time but like all bitter times, it was overcome and although it was a dark phase, it did, however prove to be a good teacher. It’s eerie how an injury can turn things 180 degrees but life is a zig-zag graph, if not, we wouldn’t be living it….

The few things that were slightly brighter than the above paragraph were that I made a telescope with a classmate and I graduated Year Four!!!! So….Yeah.

Okkkk. I would request you all to put away those napkins because the next year was a year where I WENT WILD and got the BEST. TOY. EVER!!!!! Here’s Presenting…..

2013: THE YEAR I SAW A TIGER AND OTHER ANIMALS….

2014: I SAW A WONDER AND BEGAN TO TAKE MY GLASSES SERIOUSLY. AND I PLAYED NATIONALS….

No kidding, I’ve had glasses since Year Three but I didn’t find the need to wear them till the summer before Year Six. As a consequence of which, I am literally blind right now….by which I mean seriously Myopic and not unable to see the two fingers which you guys so enthusiastically hold up when I remove my glasses to clean them. How do you think vision works, huh?! Anyway, I have proof of me respecting the said condition right here….

Now that I’ve proven my innocence, Imma show you a wonder….of the world…..Now….

Up next, was my first ever National competition. How I got there I have honestly no idea but yeah, it was daunting stuff of which I surprisingly don’t remember much. But I have been there and done that!

As we come to the end of twenty fourteen, let me remind you that family is something that you cannot ignore….Believe me, I tried. But they retaliated by taking me into the mountains and pinning me down in a glacier. There were bears…..

Oh my Gawd, you believed me??!! You’re fun!!!!

2015: THERE WERE BEARS….

This year was the ultimate fam jam in the form of the best holiday ever. There were mountains and tea and snow and bears….And Dragons.

2019: THE LAST LEG

2019 is an eventful year, not because I finished High School but because I went to A.S.I.A and then I skated a hell lot and then I taught at my Writers’ Club and then…..I FINISHED FREAKING HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!

You want proof, I’ll give you proof!!!!

Ok….I’ll calm down. But this, is me winning the rolling trophy for Creative Writing.

It is a very special trophy because it shows that two years of battling through the school paid off. By battling, I mean to the extent that I wrote ‘Survived in XB as my achievement. But most importantly, it shows that what you love is the only constant companion that never puts you down.

Now….that be some deep stuff. So, let’s go on holiday!!!!
